Access to snow parks for school outings
On February 1st, 2007, Stoneham Mountain Resort and Mont-Sainte-Anne both implemented new safety guidelines to improve visitor safety at their mountains and, in particular, in their respective snow parks. This new approach requires that participants obtain a park pass, as the access is now restricted to experienced riders and skiers only, and wear a helmet at all times in the snow park. These new measures have considerably reduced snow park injuries by more than 60% in our resorts this past season.
These encouraging results, achieved as an effect of these important safety improvements, will allow us to permit access to our snow-parks for the 2009-2010 season to all school outings subject to the same safety provisions that we require of all of our guests.
To obtain a park pass
Students on visit with a school outing can obtain a park pass by completing an awareness form. Students 16 years or younger must have a parent sign the form.
To accelerate the emission process for park passes, we ask that all the interested parties print and complete the form before their school outing, and that all necessary documents and signatures be ready when they arrive at the resort. Click here for print the form
The park pass is valid for the 2009-2010 season, at the Stoneham mountain Resort and Mont-Sainte-Anne. The park pass costs 11$ (taxes included).
