In February 1947, 20 years before the official opening of the ski resort in 1966, Mont-Sainte-Anne was the host of the Alpine Skiing Canadian Championships. This event was the first in a long list of major competitions. Mont-Sainte-Anne continues to participate in the development of the sport and the racers by hosting again this year several competitions and by offering training camps on the best race training conditions.
